Last May, I went for a vacation to the islands of Hawaii. It wasn't my first time but it was my last time...This "voyage" was the rest that I needed from such a crazy year so far!

During my journey, I've traveled on three (3) of the five (5) islands of Hawaii: Big Island, Maui and Oahu. I had the times of my life; unforgotten times forever embed into my memories...

This mix is the reflection of my journey to the islands of Hawaii through of course...music. This is very personal to me and I wanted to share with you guys! So give it a listen!

Behind Dawn | Dusk Series

Music is part of a huge aspect of my design career. I am pretty sure that I wouldn't be a good designer without music. Music influenced everything about my creative work: my thoughts, my emotions, my ideas and much more.

The original idea of creating a mix-sharing-playlist, came from Radim Malinic; an award winning art director, illustrator and graphic designer based in London, England. He made a mix called: "Beats, Clicks and Occasional Guitar" and basically shared his taste of Deep House music to the rest of the world.

This is how the idea of creating the DD Series came from! So the concept of my mix is all about the songs that inspired me for my work and my artworks. Songs that take me to a place where the creativity rules.

So from the sunrise to the sunset and at night; I am taking you on a journey of house and trance music. The "Dawn" part is always more enjoyable and relaxing and the "Dusk" part is a little but more intense with more beats, rhythm and booms. The mixture of both side results into DAWN | DUSK.

Dawn | Dusk 2 : Remember Posted on November 29th, 2009

So this is a new mix compilation by myself! After the huge success with the first "Dawn | Dusk" compilation back in April 2009. I decided to make like a second part to the first mix, this mix is little bit more trance-ier.

I entitled "Remember" for all the great memories of the past summer. I don't know for you guys but here in Montreal, the summer was pretty short! So what we can all do is to "remember" all the great souvenirs and waiting for the next one!

I love music, especially House and Trance music. This is a little special project of mine. I was working on it whenever I had some free time. I wanted to share my own personal taste of music and also share what inspires me along my work.
