Already one week has passed since the much anticipated design event of Montreal and we are still recovering from it! For most of you who have attended, MMTWO was an incredible and memorable experience and I do share the same thoughts with all of you.
We had attendees from all over places, around the world including Buffalo, Colorado, Toronto, Halifax also Brazil and many others. After 5 months of preparation, we were so overwhelmed about the response from the community regarding this event and this was just like a dream come true.
For the second year, we were lucky enough to have Fabio Sasso and James White coming back and spare their time for us and along came mighty designers such as Radim Malinic, Shelby White and Rik Oostenbroek. What strikes us more is that every speaker had their own flavor
and rarely they've spoke about their struggle into their life as a freelancer. Also what was one of the highlights of MMTWO was also the chemistry we had among the speakers and the audience. To us, it's priceless!
Into the mix, we also had the chance to meet new people and friends, it was amazing to finally put a face other than just a Twitter Avatar. To us, the MMTWO was one the best weekends of our life.
From the bottom of our hearts, we wanna thank all our speakers, our proud sponsors, our supporters and our attendees for making MMTWO THE design event of Montreal.

Due to regrettable circumstances, Scott Hansen is no longer available to speak at MMTWO on April 8th. We were so looking forward to seeing his presentation as much as everyone attending and deeply apologize to bring this news to you so close to the event.
However, some good news! We were able to secure a presentation by the talented Depthcore-alumnis Rik Oostenbroek. Rik is an award-winning digital artist and has been featured in art and design magazines the world over. We greatly look forward to seeing him discuss his remarkable artwork onstage!
Therefore featured speakers Radim Malinic and James White released their contributions for MMTWO! I hope you guys really enjoyed them! 9 Days left before Montreal Meets 2 and counting!
I am very sad to announce with all the efforts we've put into the MMTWO Kickstarter Project, we didn't reached our goal. From the Kickstarter Headquarters, all pledges will be returned to their respective backers.
Is the MMTWO will be cancelled? The answer is NO, we are really committed and we'll do anything in our power to make MMTWO an unforgettable experience and the Montreal's Design Event of this year. This is my pledge to you.

Another news, we just launched our Kickstarter Project! Planning and putting a grand event together doesn't come cheap or free, trust me! We are reaching all the sources and trying our hardest to make this
into an unforgettable experience for all of you. Our total expenses rounded up to $14,000 and as far we've raised less than a half of it. Most of the expenses comes from paying our speakers airfare and stay. Also
without leaving anything beside, we also have the venue, equipment, advertising and printing.
Montreal Meets is totally a non-profit event and we're working hard to stand behind the idea and sacrificing a lot
of our time to make MMTWO as better then before and also the Montreal Design Event to attend.
We're soon arriving to less than 2 months before the Montreal Meets 2 / MMTWO! Are you excited yet? After a huge demand, we'll be offering for a limited time only a new price for students and a new group rate! Here's the details!

On last January, 16th, 2012 I had the chance to assist at the first ever show of visual and music artist Scott Hansen also known as TYCHO. Scott really brave himself by coming here in the cold winter of Montreal.
It was really a beautiful atmosphere at IL Motore and also had the chance to people behind TYCHO like Jakub the great and also the guys of Beacon!
Hopefully the gang will be back in April!
By the way, the video was shot with my iPhone 4 so it's not the best quality but you can an idea of the sound and vision of TYCHO.
